Ultimate Fighter

OK, since I don't have a chance to work out myself, I practice my Jujitsu via proxy through Spike TV's Ultimate Fighter competition. If you are unaware, this is a "reality show" done by the UFC where contestants fight for a UFC fighting contract. They train during the week and at the end, two guys are chosen to fight with the loser going home. The winner of the last two contestants wins the contract alla Survivor. Two weeks ago a new season started with 32 guys. They were all paired up, and had to win their match to get their official spot on the show. One of these dudes last night was having a great match, but at the start of the second round, caught a punch on the chin with his mouth hanging open, which broke his jaw in 3 places. Prior to his KO, he tried a Flying-Triangle choke and nearly did it, below is a video in another Jujitsu match where he successfully pulls it off. You guys need to start practicing!


Turn your Wii into a Media Player

This is a very cool product.  Not perfect, but it is getting there.  For King, this would allow him to stream audio or video off of his home network onto his Wii, turning his Wii into a full featured media player.

Orb Wii

Content is also available from other computers anywhere on the internet that have access, and even from you mobile phone device.  I can sit and listen to music off of my home computer on my Treo any time I want.  Very cool.

#3 When attempting a take down, do not place your forehead on your opponents knee.

#2 Never run chin first at your opponent.

#1 Don't act like a maniac bonehead, charge, and then get your face removed. I personally love how uninvolved the Russian is. Like he was bored out of his mind, yet takes the match.



Bike Pond Jumping in Alpine

Mitt Romney and the Presidency

A Washington, DC. top congressional policy advisor who is
also LDS, has said the vast majority of GOP
congressmen are endorsing Mitt Romney.
He thought a Mitt presidency was no longer improbable,
but, it is now something that 'could happen.'

So..., if Mitt Romney became President of the US
(code name PONTUS) will we have something we've
never had before --
a president who goes to a specific church
for his entire presidency?

All other presidents belonged to religions that didn't have
tight congregational boundaries. Now, think about that:

What Ward would PONTUS be in? We'd better check the Church web site.

Welcome to Crash

Well Crash finally got things up and running, and even managed to include a cheesy clipart for the logo. Where did you even find that Crash??????

The site is running a significantly updated version of Drupal, so it is a lot slicker than the previous versions. Lets have fun.
