Should be a good enhancement toward the PC. This may just kill firewire as the article says. I think it will be cool to have that kind of speed going to and from devices.

Saw this article as well. Yes, firewire is dead. When that company that created the tech is no longer putting it inside its flagship products, then the lifespan of the product is over. 100x speed improvement over 1.0.....awesome.
